Welcome to Sebden Steel

Founded as a privately owned independent in the 1990’s, Sebden Steel has grown successfully both organically and through strategic acquisitions, with an ongoing investment programme resulting in a continuous improvement in production, efficiency and competitiveness.

Sebden Steel are now the largest privately owned mill-independent steel processors and stockholders of strip mill and reversing mill plate products in the UK & Ireland with annual sales across the market of over £275m with supplies sourced from mills world wide.

We have a combined processing capacity in excess of 50,000 tonnes per month and sell over 300,000 tonnes of steel a year from seven strategically placed locations nationwide, carrying up to 60,000 tonnes of stock, providing the full range of services with guaranteed deliveries and offering ‘local knowledge and a friendly service’.
